Sher Vancouver
I’ve done lots of work for and with Sher Vancouver—a social and support group for South Asian GLBT. This has been a much-needed movement, bringing sexuality awareness to a normally “hush hush” and taboo subject in the community. And while it hasn’t been accepted with open arms by all, it’s a huge step. With such a big South Asian community in the Metro Vancouver area, sitting back and watching ignorance continue to reign wasn’t an option.
Using a saturated colour palette, clean typography, and by creating two little characters, this brochure I designed, targets teenagers on the awareness of Sexuality and Gender Identity.

Easter Bunny
Sitting in a quiet house, trying to unscramble my brain. I need to stop waiting around for something magical to happen. Need to go on an Easter Egg Hunt (minus the Easter and eggs) and find something magical, perhaps. Thinking of part time school in the summer, maybe? I need SOMEthing. I miss spending hours being surround by creatives every day. I need to find inspiration somewhere. Or maybe I just need the warm weather to greet me so I can get my daily dose of much-needed Vitamin D. (Taking Vitamin D capsules isn’t nearly as fun as sitting outside in the sun).
I’ve created a blog with the hopes that this will motivate me to stop being lazy with design updates on my portfolio site. Also am wanting to experiment more with photography (let’s hope that happens!)
